Dr. Avram Hershko (lahir di Karcag, Hungaria pada 1937 dengan nama Herskó Ferenc) merupakan seorang biolog Israel. Pada 1950, Hershko dan keluarganya pindah dari Hungaria ke Israel. Hershko ialah Profesor Istimewa di Unit Biokimia, Fakultas Kedokteran Rappaport di Technion (Institut Teknologi Israel) di Haifa, Israel. Ia menjadi profesor di Technion pada 1980, dan Profesor Kolega di sana dari 1972 sampai 1980.

Antara 1969-72, Hershko ialah mahasiswa pasca doktoral dengan yang terakhir Dr. Gordon Tomkins di Universitas California, San Francisco. Hershko memegang gelar Ph.D. dan M.D.D.. Ia mengerjakan karya sarjana antara 1967-69 di Fakultas Kedokteran Hadassah Universitas Ibrani Yerusalem, menerima gelar PhD pada 1969. Hershko menerima gelar M.D. pada 1965, di Fakultas Kedokteran yang sama. Antara 1965-67, Hershko bekerja sebagai dokter di Angkatan Pertahanan Israel.
