PT Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk atau biasa disingkat menjadi Asuransi Jastan, adalah sebuah perusahaan asuransi umum yang berkantor pusat di Jakarta. Untuk mendukung kegiatan bisnisnya, hingga akhir tahun 2022, perusahaan ini memiliki 13 kantor cabang dan 7 kantor pemasaran yang tersebar di seantero Indonesia.[3][4]

Sejarah

Perusahaan ini memulai sejarahnya di Bandung pada tahun 1979 dengan nama PT Maskapai Asuransi Jasa Tania. Pada awalnya, perusahaan ini hanya beroperasi di lingkungan PT Perkebunan I sampai XXIX dengan 5 kantor cabang dan 1 kantor perwakilan. Pada tahun 1987, perusahaan ini mengubah namanya menjadi seperti sekarang dan memindahkan kantor pusatnya ke Jakarta. Pada dekade 1990-an, perusahaan ini telah memiliki 7 kantor cabang dan 2 kantor perwakilan. Pada dekade 2000-an, perusahaan ini telah memiliki 8 kantor cabang dan 4 kantor pemasaran. Pada tahun 2003, perusahaan ini resmi melantai di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Pada dekade 2010-an, perusahaan ini telah memiliki 13 kantor cabang dan 10 kantor pemasaran. Pada tahun 2013, perusahaan ini meluncurkan sejumlah produk ritel, seperti JT Oto, JT Griya, JT Care, asuransi ternak, dan asuransi tanaman perkebunan. Pada dekade 2020-an, perusahaan ini meluncurkan aplikasi Jastan Apps untuk memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengakses produknya.[3][4]
