Assalova Schissandra Zahra (lahir 21 Agustus 1998) merupakan penyanyi dan pencipta lagu berkebangsaan Indonesia. Assalova merupakan lulusan dari Pendidikan Seni Musik, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, dengan mengambil konsentrasi major vocal.

Perjalanan Karier

Kehidupan Awal

Assalova lahir di keluarga sangat dekat dengan musik. Ayahnya, Andy Djatmiko adalah seorang bassist, gitaris fingerstyle, dan penulis lagu. Musik sudah mengalir dalam darah Assalova sejak masih kecil. Ia merupakan penikmat musik Jazz, klasik, orchestra, dan pop. Bakat menyanyi Assalova muncul sejak usia 3 tahun. Prestasi pertamanya mendapat Juara 1 English Singing Contest sejak usia 5 tahun. Assalova juga pandai memainkan alat musik seperti gitar klasik (grade 6 Yamaha Music School), Piano dan Bass secara autodidak, hingga bernyanyi Seriosa.

Awal Karier

Sebelum publik mengenalnya sebagai penyanyi dan pencipta lagu, Assalova lebih dulu terjun di dunia cover lagu. Kemajuan dunia digital, Assalova memanfaatkan untuk mengunggah hobi bernyanyinya di YouTube dan Instagram. Ia meng-cover- lagu-lagu Disney, seperti "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" Cinderella. Setelah itu, Assalova mulai dikenal banyak orang. Assalova terpilih untuk konser pada International Indie Music Festival, Pekan Raya Indonesia 2018 di ICE BSD City, Tangerang. Assalova juga terpilih untuk mengisi soundtrack dalam film "Detak" yang menjadi Winner European Cinematography Awards, Amsterdam (2021) dan mendapat nominasi Best Drama Feature dan Best Cinematography, Genre Celebration Festival, Tokyo (2020).

Di awal karirnya, Assalova mulai merilis 2 single, "Kembang Semusim" (2018) dan "Karena Cinta" (2019) yang diciptakan oleh ayahnya, Andy Djatmiko. Pada tahun 2020, Assalova berhasil merilis 1 single Religi ciptaannya sendiri berjudul "Bersyukur Pada-Mu" bekerjasama dengan IDI Banyumas untuk menggalang donasi APD untuk tenaga medis. Selain itu, di tahun 2020, Assalova berhasil merilis 3 single berkonsep trilogy, yaitu "Langit dan Senja", "Jalan Cerita", dan "Fajar" yang saling berhubungan satu sama lain. Trilogy ini menjadi pembuka dari album perdananya, yang diberi judul "Romansa" pada Maret 2021.
