Arkesilaos (/ˌɑːrsɛsɪˈleɪ.əs/; bahasa Yunani: Ἀρκεσίλαος; 316/5–241/0 SM[1]) merupakan seorang filsuf Yunani dan pendiri Akedemi Kedua atau Tengah—fase Akademik Skeptisisme. Arkesilaos menggantikan Krates sebagai kepala keenam (Scholarches) Akademi pada sekitar tahun 264 SM.[2] Ia tidak menyimpan pemikirannya secara tertulis, jadi pendapatnya hanya dapat dipungut dari tangan kedua dari apa yang dipelihara oleh para penulis kemudian. Ia adalah akademik pertama yang mengambil posisi skeptisisme filosofis, yaitu, ia meragukan kemampuan indra untuk menemukan kebenaran tentang dunia, meskipun ia mungkin terus percaya akan adanya kebenaran itu sendiri. Ini membawa fase skeptis Akademi. Penentang utamanya adalah orang-orang stoikisme dan keyakinan mereka bahwa kenyataan dapat dipahami dengan pasti.
