Anugerah Lingkungan Goldman

Anugerah Lingkungan Goldman (Goldman Environmental Prize) adalah sebuah anugerah yang diberikan setiap tahun kepada para aktivis lingkungan dari lingkup akar rumput dari enam area geografis di dunia: Afrika, Asia, Eropa, Kepulauan dan Negara Kepulauan, Amerika Utara, dan Amerika Selatan / Amerika Tengah. Anugerah ini berupa uang sejumlah 150.000 Dolar Amerika (pada tahun 2009).

Anugerah ini dibentuk pada tahun 1990 oleh pemuka masyarakat dan filantrofis Richard N. Goldman dan almarhum istrinya Rhoda H. Goldman. Para pemenang Anugerah Lingkungan Goldman dipilih oleh dewan juri internasional yang menerima nominasi rahasia yang dimasukkan oleh sejumlah jaringan organisasi lingkungan dan individu. Pemenang anugerah ini mengikuti acara tur keliling San Francisco dan Washington, D.C. dengan rangkaian acara berupa upacara penganugerahan, presentasi, konferensi pers, brifing media, dan pertemuan dengan pemuka politik, pembuat kebijakan publik, tokoh finansial, dan pemimpin lingkungan.

Pada tahun 2001, Yosepha Alomang dari Indonesia memenangi anugrah ini untuk area Asia. Pada tahun 2009, Yuyun Ismawati dari Indonesia memenangi anugerah ini untuk area Kepulauan dan Negara Kepulauan.
