Anita Soina lahir 20 Agustus 2000 [1] adalah seorang enviromentalis advokat dan politikus Kenya yang berasal dari Maasai. Dia juga merupakan penulis dari The Green War [2] dan pendiri organisasi Spice Warrior yang merupakan kelompok yang mengadvokasikan perubahan iklim di Kenya.

Latar belakang dan pendidikan

Anita lahir pada tanggal 20 Agustus 2000[1] di Kajiado Utara dari seorang ayah yang berasal dari Maasai.[3] Dia lulus dari Universitas Multimedia dengan gelar Sarjana Seni di bidang Hubungan Masyarakat dan Komunikasi Perusahaan pada tahun 2021[4].

Aktivisme

Pada tahun 2018, Soina mendirikan Spice Warriors di bawah bimbingan Eric Mastsanza yang merupakan sebuah grup inisiatif yang berlokasi di Nairobi yang bertujuan mengadvokasikan keberlangsungan lingkungan di Kenya.[5] Dia juga menghadiri Konferensi Perubahan Iklim Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa 2021 pada bulan November 2021 untuk memberikan pendapatnya terhadai Darurat Kekeringan Nasional di Kenya serta Banjir yang terjadi di Great Rift Valley.[6]
