Angers ialah sebuah kota di barat Prancis. Penduduknya berjumlah 160.000 jiwa di kota dan 300.000 tinggal di daerah metropolitannya.

Merupakan ibu kota bekas provinsi Anjou. Sekarang, masuk departemen Maine-et-Loire. Penduduk Angers dan Anjou disebut 'Angevins'.

Kota ini sudah ada sebelum Kekaisaran Romawi. Setelah penaklukan Romawi, kota ini disebut Juliomagus. Angers merupakan kota penting di Prancis selama Abad Pertengahan. Salah satu kastil terbesar di Eropa ada di kota ini.

Sekarang Angers adalah kota terbesar ke-16 di Prancis (menurut jumlah penduduk). Merupakan pusat ekonomi, kota wisata dan budaya. Banyak festival diselenggarakan tiap tahun di kota ini (festival film Premiers Plans, festival jalanan Tours de scènes dan Accroche-Cœurs yang terkenal). Kota ini memiliki banyak museum. Museum Beaux-Arts (museum seni terkenal) dan Tapisserie de l'Apocalypse (koleksi permadani dinding Abad Pertengahan tertua dan terbesar di dunia) amat terkenal.

Terdapat 2 perguruan tinggi di sini. Lebih dari 17.000 mahasiswa menuntut ilmu di Universitas Angers (sebuah perguruan tinggi negeri) dan 12.000 mahasiswa ke Université Catholique de l'Ouest (perguruan tinggi Katolik swasta). École superieure des sciences commerciales d'Angers ialah salah satu sekolah bisnis paling bergengsi di Prancis.
