Angel Studios

Angel Studio adalah perusahaan media independen yang berbasis di Provo, Utah, Amerika Serikat. Perusahaan ini didirikan pada tahun 2013 oleh CEO Neal Harmon bersama saudara-saudaranya, yaitu Daniel, Jeffrey, dan Jordan Harmon. Inspirasi utama pendirian Angel Studio adalah keinginan para pendirinya, yang merupakan orang tua dari anak-anak kecil, untuk menghadirkan film dan acara TV berkualitas tinggi yang "memperkuat cahaya" dengan nilai-nilai positif dan inspiratif.[1]

Model pendanaan komunitas

Angel Studios memperkenalkan model pendanaan komunitas (equity crowdfunding) yang memungkinkan para kreator mempresentasikan ide proyek mereka kepada komunitas pendukung. Penonton dapat berinvestasi dalam proyek tersebut dengan membeli saham dalam produksi tertentu. Model ini memberikan kebebasan kepada kreator untuk membuat konten tanpa tekanan dari jaringan distribusi tradisional.[2]

Platform streaming
