Analisis jabatan


Analisis jabatan adalah suatu kegiatan pengumpulan informasi yang lengkap dan benar mengenai jabatan yang ada dalam suatu organisasi. Tujuan dari analisis jabatan adalah dihasilkan spesifikasi jabatan dan cara perolehannya yang tersusun secara lengkap dan akurat. Analisis jabatan secara umum merupakan tahap awal dalam proses evaluasi jabatan.[1]

Lingkup

Analisis jabatan tidak berkaitan sama sekali dengan pemangku jabatan maupun hasil karyanya. Informasi yang dibahas dalam analisis jabatan hanya bersoalan mengenai fungsi dari jabatan. Sehingga analisis jabatan tidak membahas tentang sifat dari pemangku jabatan dan dibedakan dengan analisis karyawan.[butuh rujukan]

Bidang analisis dalam analisis jabatan meliputi kegiatan dalam jabatan dan lingkungan pekerjaan. Kegiatan dalam jabatan meliputi semua tugas yang dilakukan pemegang jabatan yang berkaitan dengan jabatan yang diperolehnya. Tugas-tugas ini termasuk tugas umum dan khusus. Bahasan dalam tugas meliputi tingkat kepentingan, tingkat kesulitan, serta besarnya tanggung jawab atas tugas dengan fokus utama pada jenis pekerjaan. Sementara pada lingkungan pekerjaan, yang dibahas meliputi lokasi dan kondisi tempat kerja. Selain itu, dibahas pula mengenai supervisi yang diperlukan, jadwal kerja, serta keberadaan insentif khusus yang berupa uang atau bukan uang.[butuh rujukan]
