Latar belakang

Amy Beth Dziewiontkowski lahir di Flushing, Queens, New York City, New York, dan merupakan putri dari pasangan Pamela Ryan, seorang perawat, dan John Dziewiontkowski, pemilik perusahaan truk.[4][5][6][7] Ia merupakan keturunan Britania Raya, Irlandia dan Polandia.[8] Pada tahun 1970-an, Amy dan saudaranya, Laura, mengantarkan surat kabar Daily News menggunakan sepeda.
