Rene Alexander Acosta (lahir 16 Januari 1969)[1] adalah seorang jaksa dan politikus Amerika Serikat, yang menjabat sebagai Menteri Ketenagakerjaan Amerika Serikat ke-27 dari 2017 sampai 2019.[2] Presiden Donald Trump menominasikan Acosta untuk menjadi Menaker pada 16 Februari 2017, dan ia disahkan oleh Senat AS pada 27 April 2017.

Presiden Donald Trump mengumumkan dalam sebuah konferensi pers pada 16 Feburari 2017, bahwa ia akan mencalonkan Acosta sebagai Menteri Ketenagakerjaan setelah Andrew Puzder mengundurkan diri dari pencalonan.[3][4][5][6][7] Acosta direkomendasikan oleh Don McGahn.[8] Acosta menjadi yang pertama, dan per Mei 2019, satu-satunya orang Hispanik yang menjadi anggota kabinet Trump.[9][10][11][12][13]
