Al-Walid bin al-Mughirah

Al-Walid bin al-Mughirah al-Makhzumi (bahasa Arab: الوليد بن المغيرة المخزومي, al-Walīd ibn al-Mughīrah al-Makhzūmī) adalah kepala klan Bani Makhzum dari suku Quraisy. Klannya bertanggung jawab atas materi-materi terkait perang.

Ia adalah putra dari al-Mughīrah bin ‘Abdullāh bin ‘Umar bin Makhzūm.

Putra:

  1. Khalid bin Walid.[1] Ibunya adalah istri Walid, Lubābah as-Sughrá, yang menjadi, al-Asmā binti al-Ḥārith bin al-Ḥazn. Namun, Khalid maupun para suadaranya menjadi mualaf pada masa kematian ayah mereka.
  2. Hisyam bin al-Walīd.
  3. Walīd bin al-Walīd.
  4. Ammarah bin Walid atau ‘Umārah.[2]

Sumber-sumber menyebut seseorang bernama Umar bin Walid bin Mughīrah, namun tak jelas apakah ia adalah putra dari Walīd.

  1. Najiyah binti al-Walid bin al-Mughirah yang menikahi Shafwan bin Umayyah
  2. Fāṭimah binti al-Walīd yang menikahi Ḥārits bin Hisyām bin al-Mughīrah dari klan Banu Makhzum. Fatimah adalah ibu dari Ummu Ḥakīm yang menikahi ‘Ikrimah bin Abu Jahl disusul oleh Khālid bin Sa‘īd.
