Aiyegbeni Yakubu (lahir 22 November 1982; dikenal sebagai Yakubu) adalah pemain sepak bola berkebangsaan Nigeria yang bermain sebagai penyerang untuk Reading dan tim nasional sepak bola Nigeria.

Yakubu memulai karier sebagai pemain profesional bersama Maccabi Haifa. Ia berhasil meraih dua gelar juara Liga Primer Israel selama empat musim bersama klub tersebut. Penampilannya pada Liga Champions UEFA 2002–03 menarik perhatian Portsmouth hingga ia bergabung dengan klub tersebut sebagai pemain pinjaman pada bulan Januari 2003. Ia sepenuhnya menjadi pemain permanen Portsmouth pada bulan Mei 2003.[2] Bersama Portsmouth, Yakubu berhasil meraih gelar juara Championship 2002–03. Ia kemudian bermain untuk Middlesbrough, Everton, dan Leicester City sebelum bergabung dengan Blackburn Rovers pada bulan Agustus 2011.[3]

Yakubu memperkuat timnas Nigeria sejak tahun 2000. Ia adalah pencetak gol terbanyak ketiga timnas Nigeria sepanjang sejarah. Yakubu termasuk dalam skuad Nigeria pada empat putaran final Kejuaraan Sepak Bola Afrika dan Piala Dunia FIFA 2010. Hingga bulan September 2011, ia telah tampil 57 kali dan mencetak 21 gol untuk timnas Nigeria.
