Agapenor

Agapenor (Yunani: Ἀγαπήνωρ) dalam mitologi Yunani adalah pemimpin Arcadians pada perang Trojan.[1] Ia adalah putra Ankaios dan cucu dari Lycurgus. Sebagai raja Arcadians, ia menerima enam puluh kapal dari Agamemnon, di mana ia memimpin Arcadians untuk Troy.[2][3] Ia juga terjadi di antara pelamar dari Helen.[4][5] Ia adalah salah satu orang untuk menjadi di Kuda Troya.[6]

Setelah kembali dari Troy ia dilemparkan oleh badai di pantai Siprus, di mana ia mendirikan kota Paphos dan di dalamnya kuil terkenal Aphrodite.[7] Ia juga terjadi dalam kisah Alcmaeon: itu kepadanya bahwa Arsinoe (Alphesiboea), istri Alcmaeon ini, dijual pergi oleh saudara-saudaranya sendiri.[8]

Agapenor memiliki seorang putri, Laodike, yang dikenal karena telah mengirim jubah ke Tegea sebagai hadiah kepada Athena Alea,[9] dan telah membangun sebuah kuil Aphrodite Paphia di Tegea.[10]
