Adam McKay (lahir 17 April 1968) adalah sutradara film, produser, penulis naskah, pelawak, dan aktor Amerika Serikat. McKay menjabat sebagai penulis utama seri komedi sketsa Saturday Night Live di NBC selama dua musim. Ia menyutradarai Anchorman, Talladega Nights, dan Step Brothers. McKay memiliki ikatan kerja sama komedi dengan Will Ferrell, sesama penulis naskah film-film tersebut.

McKay dan Ferrell membuat situs web komedi Funny or Die lewat perusahaan mereka, Gary Sanchez Productions.

The Big Short — film pertama yang disutradarai McKay tanpa keterlibatan Ferrell — dirilis tanggal 11 Desember 2015.
