AIM-7 Sparrow adalah sebuah rudal udara ke udara jarak menengah berkendali radar semi aktif produksi Amerika Serikat dan beberapa negara sekutunya. Rudal ini adalah rudal utama USA dan sekutunya dari tahun 1950-an sampai 1990-an yang mampu menembak sasaran di luar jangkauan pandangan mata (Beyond Visual Range/BVR). Walaupun masih digunakan, tetapi secara meluas sudah digantikan oleh rudal yang lebih canggih yaitu AIM-120 AMRAAM. Fox One Digunakan sebagai kata kunci pada komunikasi radio untuk menginformasikan peluncuran rudal berpandu radar semi aktif sepeti Sparrow.

Varian dari Sparrow digunakan sebagai rudal darat ke udara RIM-7 Sea Sparrow, yang digunakan angkatan laut Amerika Serikat untuk arhanud pada kapal perang.

Italia

Perusahaan italia Finmeccanica, Alenia Difesa melisensi teknologi AIM-7E Sparrow technology dari USA dan memproduksi sebuah versi sparrow yang telah dikembangkan lagi yaitu Aspide.

Inggris

Artikel utama: Skyflash

British Aerospace (BAe) melisensi teknologi AIM-7E2 pada 1970-an, memproduksi rudal Skyflash. Skyflash menggunakan pemandu monopulse Semi-Active Marconi XJ521 bersamaan dengan pengembangan pada bidang elektronika. Rudal ini ditenagai oleh mesin roket Aerojet Mk52 mod 2 (kemudian oleh Rocketdyne Mk38 mod 4). Skyflash mulai digunakan di angkatan udara Inggris (RAF) pada Phantom F3 pada 1976, dan kemudian pada RAF Tornado F3 ADV. Skyflash juga diekspor ke swedia untuk diguanakan pada pesawat tempur Viggen.

Sebuah versi canggih dengan pencari sasaran jenis radar aktif yg disebut Active Sky Flash diajukan oleh BAe dan Thomson-CSF, tetapi tidak didanai pemerintah karena RAF memilih rudal jenis lain (AMRAAM).
